Ministerial Order (Portaria) 454/2026/1, has been published setting the maximum rent limits, by property type, applicable to leases and subleases falling within the Simplified Affordable Rental Regime (Regime Simplificado de Arrendamento Acessível – RSAA), approved by Decree-Law 97/2026.

The maximum rent limits, by housing type, applicable under the RSAA are set forth in the annex to the Ministerial Order (Portaria), with the highest limits established for the municipality of Lisbon, where the maximum rent for a five-bedroom apartment is EUR 2,066 (two thousand sixty-six euros).
