Soraia holds a law degree from the University of Lisbon – School of Law and attended the Master’s programme in Tax Law at the same University. Soraia also attended the Advanced Postgraduate Programme in Tax Law at IDEFF.

Soraia is a full member of the Portuguese Bar Association, is a member of the Portuguese Fiscal Association (AFP) and speaks English and French.
