As of 4 May 2017 it will no longer be possible to issue bearer shares in Portugal.

Accordingly, the Government shall issue new regulations addressing the conversion of current bearer shares into registered shares.

The deadline for conversion of bearer shares is of 6 months as from 4 May 2017. After such deadline it will no longer be possible to transfer bearer shares or to receive any results associated with bearer shares. For more information contact us at info@ccsllegal.com.
