The double tax treaty signed between Portugal and Angola was ratified today through Presidential Decree no. 12/2019.
The tax treaty shall come into force when all domestic law requirements are completed on both countries and notified to the other contracting country via the proper diplomatic channels.
The treaty shall only be effective on tax years starting after the day that the treaty comes into force.
