Decree no. 65/2019, published today, updated the controlled cost housing regime, with the purpose of adapting the legislation to the current times of the housing sector, and of incorporate the objectives of the New Governmental Housing Policies.

The most relevant changes are the extension of the scope of the regime to urban refurbishment, and the promotion of affordable rentals.
